Even though the Gospels speak pointedly about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, giving shelter to the homeless and caring for the sick, the principal backers of North Carolina's Amendment One - including two Roman Catholic Dioceses) seem only too willing to ignore those messages and, instead, act like the Pharisees so harshly condemned by Christ. As a result, is it any surprise that the millenial generation is leaving organized Christianity in droves?
