As I've noted before, Virginia Governor Bob "Taliban Bob" McDonnell has ambitions to be the GOP vice presidential nominee. Apparently, McDonnell has been drinking lots of Kool-Aid because he polled pitifully in a weekend CPAC poll and in national polling. The chart above tells the tale. The positive side of the polling news is that the extreme reactionary agenda that McDonnell and the Republican Party of Virginia are inflicting on the Commonwealth - it will soon be easier to by a gun than to go to the polls and vote - may not be allowed to try to go nationwide. Personally, I hope the anti-gay bigotry, religious based discrimination and voter suppression legislation McDonnell is overseeing comes back to bite him in the ass big time.
